Zhemei’s Axminster quality carpeting is woven of 80% Virgin wool/20% anti-static nylon for long-lasting beauty and additional strength in heavy traffic areas. The two-ply yarns are skein dyed for vivid colors that make carpet designs come alive. As the ultimate choice of specifiers for prestige and complex contract and hospitality installations, wool-rich Axminster carpets provide substantial advantages in aesthetics, durability, appearance retention and overall value than any other flooring surface on the market.
As a result of its natural resilience, wool-rich Axminster carpets provide added benefits such as long-term appearance retention, excellent recovery from compression characteristics and by absorbing harmful pollutants such as Nitrogen Dioxide and Sulphur Dioxide has a contributing factor towards air purity.
As an alternative to wool-rich Axminster carpet, Zheimei also offers the option of other pile yarn, including 100% nylon.
By combining our established creative and technical expertise at the beginning of a project and employing advanced Electronic Jacquard Technology to produce entire designs in “woven to plan” full-length rolls, we are able to engineer carpets with no limitations to complexity of design.

HAND-TUFTED
Unlimited Design and Color Capabilities
One of the most innovative programs we have at Zhemei is our ability to provide customers with the option of creating a custom hand-tufted rug. Hand-tufted rugs are among the most luxurious, creative and artistic in the world of rug production. Several factors contribute to their lavishness, including yarn content, fine detailing and finishing techniques. Material yarn content that we use is primarily high quality 100% wool, most being manufactured with 100% New Zealand wool yarn. Other yarns, such as nylon, cotton and linen, may also be incorporated. Accents in silk or bamboo add a lush, rich sheen when used in tandem with wool and add a striking detail to your carpet. Merino and semi-worsted wool yarns are also available for your convenience. These yarns are finer and are used for more intricate design detail including petit point loop and low tight cut-pile constructions, making for an extremely smooth, soft and durable surface.
When we manufacture a tufted rug for you, you have the ability to choose from a wide variety of surface options and finishes that will suit your individual style and design aesthetic. Some surface options include cut-pile, loop pile or a combination of the two. Among some of our finishing techniques are random shearing, carving, beveling, recessing and embossing, which may be applied to these surfaces, giving your tufted rug a touch of your own personal elegance. A combination of surface levels can be used to create a high degree of sculpting, giving off three-dimensional effects, which adds an extra wow factor to your rug. There is no limitation to shapes and sizes you can choose for your tufted rug; if you can dream it, we can create it! The only limitation is the practicality of shipping and delivering the finished product to the project site.

After the design process is completed, your Zhemei contract specialist will send the custom design to one of our skilled and experienced designers, who will render the design into a scaled production-ready format using the latest computer-aided designing software. Once the design is approved, a sample is manufactured in the design, scale, color and finish requirements of your request. This “prototype” process normally takes 3-4 weeks to complete.
CARPET TILES
Time-Tested Proven Performance
Carpet tiles are not only easy to install, but also easy to remove. Should wear and damage occur, the carpet tiles can readily be replaced individually rather than replacing an entire floor.
Wall to wall carpets can be spot-repaired as well, but the process is often significantly more complicated than it's the case with carpet tiles, both in terms of ordering a matching segment of carpet and in terms of fitting expertise required.
Another maintenance advantage of carpet tiles is that the squares can be easily lifted if access is needed to the substrate floor beneath. This means technicians are able to gain access to underfloor cables when needed, a considerable advantage in spaces that are constantly subject to change, such as conference halls and agile workplaces.
